Recently the South Mountain Yoga community moved into a new home! We thought you might enjoy perusing some pics of the amazing transformation of 18 South Orange Avenue, 2nd Floor. Previously it was a storage room for our lovely new neighbors, Eventage event planners. 18 SOA was the original home of the historic Town Hall Deli. The building is at least 100 years old, and the renovation exposed its beautiful old bones. We worked with an incredible local architect, Maia Gilman, and received a ton of support from our landlord, Tony Wonski, who supported our vision for the space.

January 3, 2011. After the demolition.

May 5, 2011. We made plans and applied for permits. New walls and ductwork were in and primed.

We didn't like any of these paint colors and were feeling pretty nervous about the paint.

May 6, 2011. Siva makes his first appearance, and so did our new paint color.

As soon as we put Siva in front of this color, Benjamin Moore Adobe Dust, we knew it was right.

May 14, 2011. We couldn't believe how it was coming together.
